E. S. O. Martin writes fairy tales, speculative fiction, gothic romance, paranormal romance, and mainstream literary fiction with strong emotional themes and atmospheric settings.
Her fiction has been published in Every Day Fiction, Club Chicxulub, !Hastings!, The-Tusk, Flaunt magazine, among others.
She has worked as an editor, publisher, bookseller, and as an award-winning journalist. She was nominated for the Hazel reading series, which showcases experimental women-writers. She holds an MFA in creative writing from San Francisco State.
Her hobbies are reading, staying fit, vegan cooking, listening to awesome dance music, riding ebikes with her family, and learning Polish.
She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, son, and dog, Merlin.
